Get started in the sport of rowing
Our popular learn-to-row program runs in the spring and summer months and takes place at the Old Mill Boathouse located at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody.
The program is designed for those interested in trying out the sport of rowing that have little to no previous experience on the water. You’ll learn all the basics, including proper rowing technique and form on an indoor rowing machine during your first lesson before moving on to the water under the watchful eye of our experienced coaches. Classes are kept small to ensure the safety and comfort of all rowers.
Once you’ve completed our learn-to-row program, you can register for our novice program. See our learn-to-row frequently asked questions.
