Inlet Rowing Club offers a variety of programs to suit the needs and interests of all age and skill levels.

What's Included
- Flexibility to row at any of the scheduled times a coach is on the water - Membership of the Old Mill Boathouse Society (OMBS) - Use of the OMBS facilities, including showers - Membership with the Provincial Rowing Association, Rowing BC |
Membership
- Recreational Annual membership is valid from April 1st to March 31st of the following year.
- Summer only memberships are valid from May 1st to September 30th.
- Junior Competitive memberships are valid from April 1st to March 31st of the following year.
If you join later in the year the fees are prorated accordingly.
Note: For all programs, rowers will need to register with Rowing Canada (National Governing Body). Starting April 1st, 2018, every member will be required to pay a $20 membership fee for the year. If members choose to compete in regattas, additional costs will apply per event.
Programs
Learn-to Row
Our Learn-to-Row program focuses on the basics of rowing. We start all students out on ergs (rowing machines) so you can learn the proper movements for your row. You will learn how to safely handle the boats, and most importantly, you will learn to scull out on the water. We keep our Learn-to-Row sessions small, so each student is able to benefit from personalized advice from our experienced coaches.

Junior Competitive Program
Our Junior Competitive Program is for those aged 13-18 who wish to compete in regattas. There is a set training program designed to not only build technique, but also strength and endurance. Junior Competitive rowers are expected to attend all scheduled practices and encouraged to attend regattas, though the latter are not mandatory. Youths who prefer to have a more relaxed row, or are currently unable to commit to the full training schedule should join the Recreational Program (more information below).

Recreational Program
Our Recreational Program is focused on getting you out on the water and having fun! Rowers can work and train for regattas, or just have nice relaxing rows out on the water.

Guest Rowing
Experienced rowers travelling to the Lower Mainland are welcome to join the Inlet Rowing Club on guest rows!
