Programs

Learn-to Row

Our Learn-to-Row program focuses on the basics of rowing. We start all students out on ergs (rowing machines) so you can learn the proper movements for your row. You will learn how to safely handle the boats, and most importantly, you will learn to scull out on the water. We keep our Learn-to-Row sessions small, so each student is able to benefit from personalized advice from our experienced coaches.

See the Learn-to-Row page for more details.

Junior Competitive Program

Our Junior Competitive Program is for those aged 13-18 who wish to compete in regattas. There is a set training program designed to not only build technique, but also strength and endurance. Junior Competitive rowers are expected to attend all scheduled practices and encouraged to attend regattas, though the latter are not mandatory. Youths who prefer to have a more relaxed row, or are currently unable to commit to the full training schedule should join the Recreational Program (more information below).

See the Junior Competitive Program page for more details.

Recreational Program

Our Recreational Program is focused on getting you out on the water and having fun! Rowers can work and train for regattas, or just have nice relaxing rows out on the water.

See the Recreational Program page for more details.

Adaptive Progams

We are proud to offer adaptive rowing at the Inlet Rowing Club.

See the Adaptive Programs page for more details.

Guest Rowing

Experienced rowers travelling to the Lower Mainland are welcome to join the Inlet Rowing Club on guest rows!

See the Guest Rowing page for more details.
