Novice program

Novice rowing program

Our novice program is for rowers that have recently completed our learn-to-row program, or one of summer or spring break camps. This program is designed to help rowers continue to grow their skills and gain more confidence on the water before joining our recreational program.  Each session is led by an experienced coach or safety boat driver to support rowers in improving their technique and skills, while ensuring everyone's safety.

Program details

This program is ongoing and allows a new rower time to build confidence in skill level, before moving up to our recreational program. Typically 3-6months, at the coaches and rowers discretion.

Cost: $250 3 months trial (available to our LTR grads), $495 Summer, $750 full year.

3 month trial is subject to Rowing Canada, Rowing BC, and the Old Mill Boathouse Society fees if the learn to row program was in a previous year.
